Short answer: a Golden Chicken lives in a Big Coop and is not sold in a shop. At full friendship it produces every day and earns about 868g a day selling its products as they are, or 1,197g a day made into artisan goods by an Artisan player. That makes it one of the best earners (number 2 of 11 by raw income).
Quick facts
| Building | Big Coop |

| Price | Not sold in a shop |
| Days to mature | 3 |
| Produces | Every day |

Income by hearts
Animal friendship is counted in hearts, 200 points each, up to five. Friendship raises the chance of silver, gold and iridium products, so income climbs as you pet and feed it. Gold per day for one animal, with happiness at the maximum:
| Hearts | Products a day | Gold a day, raw | Gold a day, artisan goods (Artisan) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 0 | 1 | 532g | 1,197g |
| 1 | 1 | 576g | 1,197g |
| 2 | 1 | 616g | 1,197g |
| 3 | 1 | 650g | 1,197g |
| 4 | 1 | 679g | 1,197g |
| 5 | 1 | 868g | 1,197g |
Going from no hearts to five takes a Golden Chicken from 532g to 868g a day, an increase of 63%. Most of that comes from better quality, so petting daily in the first weeks is worth the time.
Artisan goods
The products of a Golden Chicken can be turned into artisan goods, which is where the processed column above comes from. One animal at full friendship keeps this much machine time busy:
- Mayonnaise Machine: 0.11 machine(s) per animal
Machines run the whole day, so a figure below one means a single machine can look after several animals. The Artisan profession adds 40% to the price of goods like these, but not to raw products.
